What NBN Plan Speed is suitable for my household?
Every household is different but we can give some guidance.

BASIC SPEED - Ideal for 1-2 people, Web browsing, Social media, Non-HD video streaming
STANDARD-PLUS SPEED - Ideal for 4+ people, Music streaming, Online gaming, Smart devices
PREMIUM SPEED - Ideal for 4+ people, Music streaming, Online gaming, Smart devices, 4K video streaming

Actual speeds on FTTB/N services will be confirmed once available. Services delivered over FTTB/N may not be able to obtain typical plan speeds.

Unlimited Plans – For multi user and device households. On NBN speeds many households do not want to be counting their data usage. With our Unlimited plans simply choose the speed of access you need and then pay one low fixed price every month.

All Plans – No on peak off peak restrictions.

* Where you elect to withdraw your submitted contract before connection a fee of $100 is payable. This fee will be waived if we provide an installation date more than 6 months from the date of order, or if no service can be provided.

* Contract relocation to a new address is available for $82.50.

* Subject to industry standard Acceptable Use Policies.

You data use is updated regularly in the "Current Usage" section of your customer portal.

Fibre estate services are currently available in estates that are connected to the LBNCo fibre network. These include Banksia Grove, Burns Beach, Wandi, Carramar and many more.

Connecting Your Home Is Easy

If your home is located within a Fibre AusBBS / LBNCo network area we can help with getting your home wired and connected for delivery of high speed Broadband, Phone and TV.

Connecting to the network is easy, simply bundle with a AusBBS Internet/voice plan and save. Completed houses and Apartments may already be connected to the network and ready for a service but if you are building a new house there are some additional steps you need to consider

LBNCo is the provider of infrastructure in your area. We will organise for the LBNCo connections team to contact you and guide you through each stage of the network connection process.


To take full advantage of our super-fast Broadband network you will need to provide cabling, power and distribution inside your house. Ideally planning for your communications should be done early in the process at the same time as the electrical planning is being done. You will need to think about what services you would like and where you would like them located throughout your house. AusBBS recommends you mark up a plan of your house showing where you would like each Phone, TV or data point located. Once you are happy, show your builder so that they can integrate it with the project plan.

Remember: Cabling can be installed after the home is built however it is more cost effective and less intrusive to install them during construction.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Pricing is based on installation to single story homes under construction. Completed home pricing will vary and will be quoted on a case by case basis.

  2. It is the home owner’s responsibility to notify AusBBS of their requirements prior to the home reaching plate height (ie. AusBBS must have access to the home for installation while the home is under construction) otherwise additional charges will apply.

  3. The home owner is responsible for costs if established landscaping/paving has to be removed. All care but no responsibility is taken on removal of landscaping and paving.

  4. Pricing of lead-in connections may differ in MDUs.

  5. An approved AusBBS / LBNCo contractor must install the lead-in. Illegal installs may be disconnected without notice.

  6. TV and Data points included in a Customer Technology Package are installed free to external, cavity walls only. Additional charges may apply for points installed on internal walls, unless a conduit is provided for our use.

  7. A call out fee is charged for fixing faults outside of the AusBBS / LBNCo network boundary or faults outside the 12 month warranty period. Call out fees are also charged for installation of additional points when the property is already connected to our network.

  8. Installation and/or connection of additional points can be arranged at your request and will incur additional charges at AusBBS standard rates

  9. Standard installation fees are charged and paid in advance. AusBBS is to be notified before wall construction is complete or additional charges will apply. Non standard installation and call out fees will be charged in arrears

  10. All pricing includes GST and are correct at 24 February 2015. Pricing may change without notice.

If your address is serviceable by LBNCo optical fibre but not yet connected to the network, AusBBS will organise this for you. The network connection usually involves the installation of an Optical Network Unit (ONU) on the outside of your home and a drop of fibre from the street to the ONU. There is a once off fee required only the first time that your property is connected to the LBNCo Network.
